Tracy Dixon Counselling will collect, store and process certain information about you in order to provide an ethical and safe service to you. The legal basis for us to hold certain information is ‘legitimate interests’ for health and social care services. The information that we hold may include personal data such as name, address, date of birth and payment details.

All of the data that we hold about you will be stored securely and will be anonymised. We use locked cabinets and/or password protected files depending on the type of data. Data is usually held for 7 years in line with the terms of our insurance. After this time data is deleted.

Your personal data is strictly confidential and would not be shared by anyone unless we were ordered by a court to do so.

You have the right to request that Tracy Dixon Counselling erase your data, provide you with a copy of your data or cease processing your data. You can also request that the data be changed if inaccurate or out of date. Any requests should be made in writing to tracydixoncounselling@gmail.com and your request will be actioned within 30 days. Please note that some information will need to be retained for legal purposes.
